My Current TV Shows

1. Southland

I have been enjoying Southland, the stories of many different cops in present-day LA, which has been on TNT Tuesday nights. It has very likable actors and most of the stories are very entertaining. It is almost a mix of Law and Order and CSI in that it contains CSI's amount of violence but also keeping L&O's sense of realism. My favorite stories contain the street cops since that usually has the most action.

2. White Collar is a very classy and highly thrilling show. It contains young star Matt Bomer as a FBI con artist consultant. He himself was a con man, but went to prison and now is outside and living out the rest of his sentence by working for the FBI. This might remind you of the Spielberg/Hanks/DiCaprio movie 'Catch Me If You Can'. It is like the ending of that movie in which he is forced to work for the law if he wishes to live outside of prison. The story lines are different every time, but of course contains a subplot which involves Matt's love interest and many con men. The show is witty and smart in that it sometimes makes you think at the end of the show. Matt's portrayal as Neal Caffrey is one of amazing suave and reminds you of DiCaprio's character in CMIYC and a young James Bond type.

3. The Office
Oh The Office! Of course, it is hard not to know someone who watches this extremely unconventional and extremely hilarious show. The show has been on for over 5 years now, and is losing it's main character (Steve Carell) after this current season. Will Ferrel is rumored to be taking the place as the branch's boss for a few episodes next season. This show is a must see, and has such superb acting it can be hard to watch after a few episodes due to Steve's extremely excellent portrayal as a unfunny, stupid, and lazy boss. The characters are all wonderful and funny in many different ways.
